Common use of County-Union Meetings Clause in Contracts

County-Union Meetings. ‌ From time to time issues of mutual concern will arise which may need discussion between the COUNTY and the UNION. Such discussion, when practicable, shall be held during regular working hours on COUNTY premises and without loss of pay to participating employees, provided that such employees shall not exceed two (2) in number. Notice of the prospective topics of discussion shall be furnished with the request for a meeting. Nothing in this provision is to be construed as a requirement of either party to negotiate on any matter during the term of this Agreement.
