Common use of Countywide Health and Safety Committee Clause in Contracts

Countywide Health and Safety Committee. The County and the Union shall participate in a County-wide Health and Safety Committee which shall meet on a bimonthly basis to review County safety records, policies and programs, and make recommendations for the resolution of health and safety issues brought before it by either the County or the Union. Each party shall furnish the other the agenda items they wish to discuss one (1) week prior to any scheduled meeting. The County shall release four (4) Union Representatives, selected by SEIU Local 521, to attend this meeting. In the event a member from NMC is chosen to be on the County Safety Committee that individual would need to be from the NMC Safety Committee.
