Covenants Against Discrimination. 11.01 FOR PROJECTS WITH FUNDS APPROPRIATED FROM GENERAL LEE COUNTY REVENUES The CONSULTANT for itself, its successors in interest, and assigns as part of the consideration thereof, does hereby covenant and agree that in the furnishing of services to COUNTY hereunder, no person on the grounds of race, color, national origin, handicap, or sex shall be excluded from participation in, denied the benefits of, or otherwise be subjected to discrimination. The CONSULTANT shall comply with Lee County's Affirmative Action Plan or state laws in the hiring of sub-consultants. CONSULTANTS who are uncertain of their obligation must obtain a copy of all relevant guidelines concerning Lee County's Affirmative Action Plan from the Lee County Department of Equal Opportunity.
