  • Civil Penalty Payment Pursuant to Health and Safety Code§ 25249.7(b)(2), and in settlement of all claims alleged in the Notice or referred to in this Settlement Agreement, XXXX agrees to pay Three Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($3,500.00) in civil penalties.   • Submitting False Claims; Monetary Penalties The AOC shall be entitled to remedy any false claims, as defined in California Government Code section 12650 et seq., made to the AOC by the Contractor or any Subcontractor under the standards set forth in Government Code section 12650 et seq. Any Contractor or Subcontractor who submits a false claim shall be liable to the AOC for three times the amount of damages that the AOC sustains because of the false claim. If unemployment or underemployment is the primary cause for default or for which a default is reasonably foreseeable, the Assuming Institution may consider the borrower for a temporary forbearance plan which reduces the loan payment to an affordable level for at least six (6) months.

  • Professional Development; Adverse Consequences of School Exclusion; Student Behavior The Board President or Superintendent, or their designees, will make reasonable efforts to provide ongoing professional development to Board members about the adverse consequences of school exclusion and justice-system involvement, effective classroom management strategies, culturally responsive discipline, appropriate and available supportive services for the promotion of student attendance and engagement, and developmentally appropriate disciplinary methods that promote positive and healthy school climates, i.e., Senate Bill 100 training topics. Board Self-Evaluation The Board will conduct periodic self-evaluations with the goal of continuous improvement. New Board Member Orientation The orientation process for newly elected or appointed Board members includes:
