Culvert Replacement. The EPA and CDPHE will cause the existing Culvert to be replaced with a new culvert having a 60” diameter (unless the slope is less than one percent (1%), in which case, the new culvert will have a 72” diameter) to the County’s sole satisfaction (“Culvert Replacement”). The EPA and CDPHE will cause the Work to be conducted (a) during daylight hours only, (b) in a manner that strictly minimizes impacts to the Property, and (c) in accordance with all requirements applicable to property located within a Superfund Site (as identified pursuant to the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act). If County becomes aware of any information that may affect the Culvert Replacement, County will promptly notify the EPA’s and CDPHE’s contacts designated below.
Culvert Replacement. Item No. A11 Reference: OPSS.MUNI 421, OPSD 802.010, 803.030, 803.031 Under this Item, for the unit prices bid, the Contractor shall: • Neatly cut and remove existing culvert to accommodate watermain installation and leave clean end suitable for joining to the new culvert section. • Complete all excavation required to construct the proposed pipe culverts including: o Removal and disposal of existing CSP culvert; o Embedment in accordance with OPSD 802.010; o Frost tapers in accordance with OPSD 803.030, 803.031; o Connect to existing culverts if required with annular couplings; o Minor re-grading of the existing channels and ditches at the upstream and downstream ends of the proposed culverts to match grades; • Supply and place Granular ‘A’ bedding and embedment in accordance with OPSD 802.010, and as shown on the Contract Drawings. Pipe culvert is considered to be in Type 3 soil. The top 75 mm depth of bedding material under the middle 50% width of the CSP shall not be compacted, to allow the CSP pipe culvert to settle into the bedding upon initial placement. All Granular ‘A’ placed adjacent to and immediately below the pipe haunches shall be manually compacted to 98% SPD with the use of pole tampers. Care shall be taken to ensure that voids do not occur under the haunches. All other bedding and embedment material shall be compacted 98% SPD with hand operated vibratory equipment only. Heavy compaction equipment shall not be used. All Granular ‘A’ material shall be placed in 200mm (max. prior to compaction) thick layers. Compaction shall alternate from one side of the pipe culvert to the other. Hand operated vibratory equipment shall be used over the top of the pipe culvert until minimum cover is attained. If heavy wheel loads are expected over the pipe culvert during the construction period, the Contractor shall provide temporary additional cover to prevent damage of any kind. Hand operated vibratory equipment shall have an energy output no greater than
Culvert Replacement. The Town agrees to replace the culvert as recommended by Civil Engineering Associates and depicted on sheet 5 of sketches dated 9/9/2015. The culvert replacement will take place before December 31, 2018.

  • Maintenance, Repair and Replacement Tenant shall keep all such Fixtures in good order and shall maintain, repair and replace the same when necessary with items at least equal in utility to the Fixtures being replaced, provided however, that Tenant will not be required to maintain, repair and replace any Fixtures which performed a function which has become obsolete or otherwise is no longer necessary or desirable in connection with the use or operation of the Premises, unless such failure to replace would reduce the value of the Premises or would result in a reduced level of maintenance of the Premises, in which case Tenant shall be required to install such Fixtures as may be necessary to prevent such reduction in the value of the Premises or in the level of maintenance.

  • Benchmark Replacement Notwithstanding anything to the contrary herein or in any other Loan Document, if a Benchmark Transition Event and its related Benchmark Replacement Date have occurred prior any setting of the then-current Benchmark, then (x) if a Benchmark Replacement is determined in accordance with clause (a) of the definition of “Benchmark Replacement” for such Benchmark Replacement Date, such Benchmark Replacement will replace such Benchmark for all purposes hereunder and under any Loan Document in respect of such Benchmark setting and subsequent Benchmark settings without any amendment to, or further action or consent of any other party to, this Agreement or any other Loan Document and (y) if a Benchmark Replacement is determined in accordance with clause (b) of the definition of “Benchmark Replacement” for such Benchmark Replacement Date, such Benchmark Replacement will replace such Benchmark for all purposes hereunder and under any Loan Document in respect of any Benchmark setting at or after 5:00 p.m. (New York City time) on the fifth (5th) Business Day after the date notice of such Benchmark Replacement is provided to the Lenders without any amendment to, or further action or consent of any other party to, this Agreement or any other Loan Document so long as the Administrative Agent has not received, by such time, written notice of objection to such Benchmark Replacement from Lenders comprising the Required Lenders. If the Benchmark Replacement is Daily Simple SOFR, all interest payments will be payable on a quarterly basis.

  • Tool Replacement Personal tools worn out and/or broken on the job will be replaced on a like- for-like basis by the Employer, provided the tool is turned in to the Employer and the Employer had knowledge the tool was being used on the job. If an employee has his/her tools stolen from a state vehicle, the Employer will replace those tools, as long as no employee negligence has occurred.

  • Replacement of Key Personnel The Engineer must notify the State in writing as soon as possible, but no later than three business days after a project manager or other key personnel is removed from association with this contract, giving the reason for removal.
