Repair and replacement definition

Repair and replacement means to restore to a sound working condition by replacing the odometer or any part thereof by correcting what is inoperative.

At the expiry of the fourteen (14) days or at the time Supplier takes possession of the products risk of loss shall transfer to Supplier and Supplier shall pay all expenses thereafter, including storage costs.

If the annual technology fee is not paid the Student and Student’s Parent/Guardian will be responsible for the full cost of all repairs to the device or replacement of the device. Cases (if provided) and chargers are not covered by the annual technology fee. Damage to or destruction/loss/ theft of the case or charger are the sole responsibility of the Student and Student’s Parent/ Guardian. Consequences for Breach of This Agreement: The Student is expected to follow BCS Policies, rules, and guidelines at all times when using BCS devices, network, and digital resources. Unlawful activity will be reported to the appropriate authorities. The consequences for the Student engaging in unacceptable use in violation of this BCS Student Device Agreement and related policies include but are not limited to suspension or revocation of BCS network privileges, suspension or revocation of device or Internet access, suspension or expulsion, and/or civil and/or criminal action.

  • Repair means to restore to proper operating condition a tank, pipe, spill prevention equipment, overfill prevention equipment, corrosion protection equipment, release detection equipment or other UST system component that has caused a release of product from the UST system or has failed to function properly.

  • refurbishment means repairing of used electrical and electronic equipment as listed in Schedule I for extending its working life for its originally intended use and selling the same in the market or returning to owner;

  • Repair facility Means any licensed automotive REPAIR FACILITY capable of performing repair services to a COVERED PART, approved by the ADMINISTRATOR, and at which YOU seek to acquire service under this CONTRACT.

  • Replacement Costs means the expenditures for obtaining and installing equipment, accessories or appurtenances which are necessary during the useful life of the treatment works to maintain the capacity and performance for which such works were designed and constructed.

  • Specialty Alterations means Alterations consisting of kitchens, executive bathrooms, raised computer floors, computer installations, vaults, libraries, internal staircases, dumbwaiters, pneumatic tubes, vertical and horizontal transportation systems, and other Alterations of a similar character.

  • Structural Alterations means any Alterations involving the structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety or heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems of the Building.

  • Emergency Repairs means repairs to a utility facility located in or adjacent to a primary city street that must be performed immediately when the necessity arises to safeguard life or property or maintain continued operation of the facility.

  • Required Repair Fund shall have the meaning set forth in Section 7.1.1 hereof.

  • Good repair means about eighty percent of materials and compo- nents are unbroken, have all their pieces, and can be used by children as intended by the manufacturer or builder.

  • Emergency repair means work necessary to prevent destruction or dilapidation to real property or structural appurtenances thereto immediately threatened or damaged by fire, flood, earthquake or other disaster.

  • Common Areas and Facilities means collectively the Development Common Areas and Facilities and the Residential Common Areas and Facilities and all those parts and such of the facilities of the Development designated as common areas and facilities in any Sub-Deed;

  • Structural alteration means an Alteration that (i) will result in a change in the footprint of the Improvements, (ii) involves the addition of one or more floors to the Improvements, (iii) affects the structural elements or any exterior walls of the Improvements, (iv) decreases the rentable square footage of the Leased Premises other than to a de minimis extent or (v) adversely affects the proper functioning and/or capacity of the building systems in the Improvements.

  • Replacement Property means any property which is placed in service as a replacement for any item of Equipment or any Improvement previously subject to this Fee Agreement regardless of whether such property serves the same functions as the property it is replacing and regardless of whether more than one piece of property replaces any item of Equipment or any Improvement to the fullest extent that the FILOT Act permits.

  • Required Repairs shall have the meaning set forth in Section 7.1.1 hereof.

  • Replacement Equipment means operational equipment or other parts used by Tenant to replace any of the Equipment.

  • Capital Improvements mean the purchase, renovation, rehabilitation, or construction of permanent land, buildings, structures, equipment and furnishings used directly for or in the Project, and any goods or services for the Project that are purchased and capitalized under GAAP, including any organizational costs and research and development costs incurred in Illinois. Capitalized lease costs for land, buildings, structures or equipment shall be included in “Capital Improvements” only if the lease term, including any extensions or options to extend, equals or exceeds the term of this Agreement, and provided that such lease costs are valued at their present value using the corporate interest rate prevailing at the time the Company filed its Application with the Department.

  • Renovation means altering a facility or one or more facility components in any way, including the stripping or removal of RACM from a facility component. Operations in which load-supporting structural members are wrecked or taken out are demolitions.
