Common use of Days Counted for Computing Sick Leave Clause in Contracts

Days Counted for Computing Sick Leave. For the purpose of computing sick leave accumulation, the following shall be counted as working days: (a) days on which the employee is on vacation; (b) days on which the employee is on leave of absence with pay pursuant to the terms of this Agreement; (c) days on which the employee is on sick leave pursuant to the terms of this Agreement; (d) days on which the employee is absent from work while receiving Workers' Compensation Benefits; (e) Statutory Holidays or days taken in lieu thereof; and (f) for days on which the employee is on union business as provided for in this Agreement, except for extended leave.
