Common use of Days Counted for Computing Sick Leave Clause in Contracts

Days Counted for Computing Sick Leave. For the purpose of computing sick leave accumulation, the following shall be counted as working days: (a) days on which the employee is on vacation; (b) days on which the employee is on leave of absence with pay pursuant to the terms of this Agreement; (c) days on which the employee is on sick leave pursuant to the terms of this Agreement; (d) days on which the employee is absent from work while receiving Worker's Compensation Benefits, sick leave credits will be limited to the number of days that would have accrued for twelve (12) months of service as per article 19.01; and (e) Statutory Holidays or days taken in lieu thereof.
