Common use of Deadline Date Clause in Contracts

Deadline Date. The parties agree to enter into collective negotiation over a successor Agreement in accordance with Chapter 123, Public Laws of 1974 in good-faith effort to reach agreement on all matters concerning the terms and conditions of employee’s employment. Such negotiations shall begin not later than October 15 of the year preceding the year in which this Agreement expires. Such negotiations shall begin not later than October January 15 of the year preceding appropriate year, or at such time as established by P.E.R.C. if earlier, concerning all terms and conditions of employment, including salary for the year in which this Agreement expiresfollowing years. Any Agreement agreement so negotiated shall apply be reduced to all employees, writing during the process of negotiations and shall be subject to ratification by the Association, be reduced to writing, be signed by the Board Commission and the Association and be adopted by the Boardin its final form.
