Debiting Sick Leave. For days of sick leave debited, a day shall be defined as consisting of six (6) hours. For any day in which an employee is absent for part or all of their hourly assignment, sick leave shall be debited for the work hours missed (contact and prep hours as defined by the appropriate discipline factor). If an employee has exhausted all fully paid sick leave, pay will be docked for the work hours missed.
