Common use of Deemed Resignation Clause in Contracts

Deemed Resignation. ‌ An employee shall be deemed to have resigned on the date upon which leave pursuant to Clauses 22.1 (Pregnancy Leave), 22.2 (Parental and Adoption) Leave and 22.3 (Extension of Leaves) commenced if he/she does not return to work.
