Deficit hours 1. If on the end date of your employ- ment agreement or in a period of every 12 months as an employee you worked less hours than the hours that you agreed on (on average) with your employer and they were paid out then you accrued deficit hours. 2. If there are deficit hours at the end of every period of 12 months then they can be made up at the latest in the subsequent 6 months. After that they expire. 3. If, as an employee, you have defi- cit hours at the moment that your employment agreement comes to an end (whilst the average number of stipulated hours were paid out by your employer) then your employer can settle the surplus with the final settlement if the cause of the deficit hours should reasonably be at the expense of the employee. 4.   • Medicaid-Funded Hours Worked Effective July 1, 2021, the Employer shall contribute the Retirement Rate or eighty cents ($0.80), whichever is higher, to the Retirement Trust for each Medicaid-Funded Hour worked by all home care workers covered by this Agreement with seven-hundred and one (701) or more cumulative career hours and fifty cents ($0.50) for each hour worked by all home care workers covered by this Agreement with less than seven-hundred one (701) cumulative career hours. Medicaid- Funded Hour(s) worked shall be defined as all hours worked by all employees covered by this Agreement in the Employer's in-home care program that are paid by Medicaid, excluding vacation hours, paid-time off hours, and training hours.

  • Hours Worked For the purpose of computing the number of hours worked, all time during which an employee is in paid status shall be construed as hours worked.
