Definition of an Emergency Call Back. A Call Back shall be defined as a circumstance where an employee has left the work premises at the completion of their regular work shift and is required to report back to work prior to the start of the employee’s next regularly scheduled work shift. An employee who is called back to report to work before the commencement of the employee’s regular work shift shall be compensated in accordance with the Call Back provisions of this Labor Agreement; provided, however, in the event an employee is called back to report to work within two (2) hours from the starting time of the employee’s next regularly scheduled work shift, the employee shall be compensated at the overtime rate of pay for only those hours immediately preceding the start the employee’s next regularly scheduled work shift, and the Call-Back provision shall not apply.
