DEFINITION OF EMERGENCY. For the purpose of administering the provisions of this MOU, an emergency shall be defined in accordance with LAAC Section 8.22, as any occurrence which by reason of its magnitude is or is likely to become beyond the control of the normal services, personnel, equipment and facilities of the regularly constituted branches and departments of the City government, or any emergency declared by the Mayor per Charter Section 231(i).
