Common use of Definition of Floating Holiday Clause in Contracts

Definition of Floating Holiday. Two (2) additional holiday days within the calendar year shall be available to the employee having at least six (6) months of continuous service and shall be scheduled at the mutual discretion of the employee and the Company. Full-time employees on payroll at the date of ratification of this agreement (April 30, 2012) will be eligible for three (3) personal floater days per calendar year. These floating holidays must be used within the calendar year in which they have been earned and cannot be converted into a cash value and cannot be carried over to a subsequent calendar year.
