Definition of Displacement Any employee classified as a regular employee shall be considered displaced for the purposes of this document, when her services shall no longer be required as a result of exhausting the Collective Agreement processes.
Definition of Dependent The definition of a dependent shall include the domestic partner of an employee and the dependents of such domestic partner. Any employee claiming a domestic partner and/or the dependents of such domestic partner for purposes of this Article shall have an approved City Affidavit of Domestic Partnership form or a registered State of California Declaration of Domestic Partnership form on file in the Employee Benefits Office, Personnel Department, which identifies that individual as the employee’s domestic partner.
Definition of Immediate Family Immediate family includes husband, wife, child, stepchild, brother, stepbrother, sister, stepsister, parent, stepparent, or any person serving as a parent, or who has served as a parent, or any other person living in the same household as the employee.
Incorporation of Solicitation The TIPS Solicitation, whether a Request for Proposals, the Request for Competitive Sealed Proposals or Request for Qualifications solicitation, the Vendor’s response to same and all associated documents and forms made part of the solicitation process, including any addenda, that resulted in the execution of this agreement are hereby incorporated by reference into this agreement as if copied verbatim. It is the intent of TIPS to award to reliable, high performance vendors to supply products and services to government and educational agencies. It is the experience of TIPS that the following procedures provide TIPS, the Vendor, and the participating agency the necessary support to facilitate a mutually beneficial relationship. The specific procedures will be negotiated with the successful vendor.
Definition of a Grievance A grievance is defined as a dispute or disagreement as to the interpretation or application of the specific terms and conditions of this Agreement.
SECTION I - DEFINITIONS As used in this Agreement, the following terms shall have the meanings ascribed herein unless otherwise stated or reasonably required by the Agreement, and other forms of any defined words shall have a meaning parallel thereto.

Confidential Information Definition Grantee acknowledges it and its employees or agents may, in the course of performing its responsibilities, be exposed to or acquire information that is: (i) confidential to Agency or Project participants or (ii) the disclosure of which is restricted under federal or state law, including without limitation: (a) personal information, as that term is used in ORS 646A.602(12), (b) social security numbers, and (c) information protected by the federal Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act under 20 USC § 1232g (items (i) and (ii) separately and collectively “Confidential Information”).
Definition of Vacancy A vacancy shall be defined as a newly created position or a present position that is not filled. A position that is totally eliminated shall not be considered a vacancy.
