Definition of Qualifications. a. The Board through its Superintendent (or their designate) shall determine whether or not any teacher or teachers concerned have the present demonstrated ability to perform the duties of an available teaching position. b. The Board through its Superintendent (or their designate) shall determine whether or not a teacher has the qualifications to perform the duties of an available teaching position. Qualifications needed to perform the duties of an available teaching position or positions means a reasonable expectation based on the teaching certificate, the educational background, the professional development, and the experience of the teacher or teachers concerned that the teacher or teachers will be able to perform successfully the duties of the position.
