Delayed Time Pay for Breakdowns. If an operator is delayed after exerting every possible effort not to be delayed, they will be compensated at their applicable hourly rate for time delayed, eight (8) hours for every twenty-four (24) hours with the exception of an instance where the employee has no alternative but to remain with the vehicle. In which case they will be paid continuous time.
