Grievances and replies to grievances shall be in writing at all stages, and shall be delivered in person or by means of electronic or facsimile transmission, as agreed upon by the Union and the Employer. The person receiving the grievance or the response shall acknowledge receipt in writing and date the acknowledgement, a copy of which is to be retained by the person acknowledging receipt. The Union shall submit grievances in person to the appropriate individual described in the Grievance Procedure.
