Common use of Demotion of Y-Rated Employees Clause in Contracts

Demotion of Y-Rated Employees. If an employee is Y-rated (i.e., salary is frozen) and requests a voluntary demotion, their salary shall be reduced by at least the amount of the difference between the maximum salary of the class from which they are being demoted and the maximum salary of the new class.
