Common use of Denial of Tenure Clause in Contracts

Denial of Tenure. A candidate denied tenure following consideration under the provisions of Article 19.03 shall be offered a one (1) year non-renewable terminal appointment which shall terminate May 31 of the academic year following the year of application for tenure.
