Departmental Orders. General Departmental orders or policies issued and signed by either the Fire Chief, Deputy Chief or City Manager, or any changes thereof, shall be posted on the bulletin board for a period of not less than six (6) days so that it shall be accessible to personnel of the department. The original of such general orders or policies, or any changes thereof, shall be kept by the Chief in a binder especially for this purpose, and a copy shall be given to the secretary of the Local Union.

  • Governmental Orders No Governmental Authority shall have enacted, issued, promulgated, enforced or entered any order, writ, judgment, injunction, decree, stipulation, determination or award that is in effect and has the effect of making any material aspect of the Transactions illegal, otherwise restraining or prohibiting consummation of any material aspect of the Transactions or causing any material aspect of the Transactions to be rescinded following completion thereof.

  • No Governmental Order No Governmental Authority shall have enacted, issued, promulgated, enforced or entered any Governmental Order which is in effect and has the effect of making the Merger or any of the other material transactions contemplated by this Agreement illegal or otherwise restraining or prohibiting the consummation of the Merger or any of the other transactions contemplated by this Agreement.

  • Legal Proceedings; Governmental Orders (a) There are no Actions pending or, to Seller’s Knowledge, threatened (a) against or by the Company affecting any of its properties or assets (or by or against Seller or any Affiliate thereof and relating to the Company); or (b) against or by the Company, Seller or any Affiliate of Seller that challenges or seeks to prevent, enjoin or otherwise delay the transactions contemplated by this Agreement.   • Governmental Body “Governmental Body” shall mean any: (a) nation, state, commonwealth, province, territory, county, municipality, district or other jurisdiction of any nature; (b) federal, state, local, municipal, foreign or other government; or (c) governmental or quasi-governmental authority of any nature (including any governmental division, department, agency, commission, instrumentality, official, organization, unit, body or Entity and any court or other tribunal).

  • Governmental Entity “Governmental Entity” shall mean any federal, state, local or foreign court, arbitral tribunal, administrative agency or commission or other governmental or regulatory authority or administrative agency.
