DEQ-PEAS. Employees who are designated by the Department of Environmental Quality as responsible for responding to the Pollution Emergency Alerting System (PEAS) shall receive cash payment in accordance with F.3(b) and (c) above for each emergency response which is not contiguous to the employee's regularly scheduled hours. At the beginning of each fiscal year, the employee may designate whether PEAS response compensation in accordance with this section will be made in cash or compensatory time.
