DISABILITY LEAVE DAYS. Whenever such an Employee is disabled through injury or illness as a result of and arising from employment with the Township as evidenced by a certificate of a physician and by qualification for Workers' Compensation, such Employee may be granted a Leave of Absence by the Township Committee with full pay: Two (2) calendar weeks for each year of service, not to exceed fifty-two (52) weeks. In the event an Employee is seriously injured on the job in the line of duty, the Township Committee may waive the years of service eligibility requirement.
