- DISCIPLINE AND ACCESS TO FILES. 5.01 An Employee may be disciplined, suspended, or discharged only for just cause. When an Employee is disciplined, suspended, or discharged, the Employee and the Bargaining Unit will be advised promptly in writing by the Administrator of Employee Relations of the reason for such actions. During the probationary period, Employees shall be entitled to all rights and privileges of this Agreement, except with respect to discharge which shall be subject to a lesser standard (basic procedural fairness).
