Clinical Supervision Allowance Clause Samples
The Clinical Supervision Allowance clause establishes an additional payment or benefit for employees who undertake clinical supervision responsibilities. Typically, this clause applies to healthcare professionals who are formally assigned to oversee, mentor, or evaluate the clinical work of less experienced staff or students. By providing compensation for these extra duties, the clause ensures that employees are fairly rewarded for the added responsibility and encourages the maintenance of high standards in clinical training and supervision.
Clinical Supervision Allowance. A Psychological Associate may be appointed by the employer to provide clinical supervision to Psycho-Educational Consultants. This employee shall receive an annual allowance of $4326 effective September 1, 2008, $4456 effective September 1, 2009, $4590 effective September 1, 2010, $4728 effective September 1, 2011.
Clinical Supervision Allowance. Effective September 1, 2005, employees who are required to provide clinical supervision as outlined by the Regulated Health Professionals Act will receive an allowance of $2,000 per year. Clinical supervision shall only be carried out in accordance with the “Guidelines for Supervision Non-Registered Personnel” and “Position Statement on Supportive Personnel” issued by the respective professional colleges.
a) The Communicative Disorders Assistant assigned to the position related to specialized equipment shall be supervised by the Speech Language Pathologist/Specialized Equipment.
b) The supervision of other Communicative Disorders Assistants requiring clinical supervision shall be posted to the Speech Language Pathologists. All qualified candidates shall be interviewed.
c) The clinical supervision within psychological services shall be posted to Registered Psychologists and Psychological Associates. All qualified candidates shall be interviewed.
