District Councils. District Councils may be formed in each Board district of the Union, as defined in Article II, Section 4 of the OCSEA State By-Laws, whenever a majority of the chapters within the geographic area of a Board district of the Union petitions the Board of Directors for such privilege.

District Councils. District Councils shall be established in the present districts in every region. District council members shall be appointed through election or through consensus-based selection in accordance with Somali traditions. The District Councils shall be responsible for managing the affairs of the district including public safety, health, education and reconstruction.

District Councils. (A) All active Chapters within the district shall hold membership in the District Council. (B) Only members who are current employees, life members, or active retirees of the chapters that form the District may be voting delegates in the District Council. (C) Reassignment of members from deactivated District Councils or to correct an error shall be done as soon as possible. Any such reassignments shall be reported to the Judicial and Internal Affairs Committee and Board of Directors. All reassigned members shall be notified in writing at the time of the reassignment.

  • District The public agency or the school district for which the Work is performed. The governing board of the District or its designees will act for the District in all matters pertaining to the Contract. The District may, at any time:

  • School District For purposes of administering this Agreement, the term "School District" shall mean the School Board or its designated representative.

  • District Approval The work completed herein must meet the approval of the District and shall be subject to the District’s general right of inspection and supervision to secure the satisfactory completion thereof.

  • Western will as requested by the Manager oversee the maintenance of all books and records with respect to the investment transactions of the Fund in accordance with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations, and will furnish the Directors with such periodic and special reports as the Directors or the Manager reasonably may request.

  • District Insurance The District shall provide such insurance for the protection of employees as is required by RCW 28A.400.370 and upon annual renewal shall provide employees with a written summary of the coverage they have under the provisions of the District insurance policies. The District shall notify the President of any change in insurance coverage.

  • County The term COUNTY refers to the Board of County Commissioners of Lee County, a charter County and political subdivision of the State of Florida, and any official or employee duly authorized to act on the COUNTY'S behalf relative to this Agreement.
