Documents and Capacity Building. 1) The book “A History of Democratic Kampuchea (1975-1979),” published by DC-Cam will be used as a core document for teacher trainings and for producing lesson plans in order to add to the existing content or to integrate lessons on the History of Democratic Kampuchea into school curriculum. 2) Updating of the Teacher’s Guidebook on the teaching of “A History of Democratic Kampuchea” and other assisting documents will be conducted by XxXXX in collaboration with DC-Cam, in respond to the actual situation of teachers’ needs. 3) Organizing training course for 1,500 secondary school teachers who are specialized in History, Geography, Khmer Literature, and Moral Education. 4) An annual meeting will be held with national and provincial teachers. The meeting will aim to strengthen teachers’ capacity in conducting research, documenting, and teaching the history of Democratic Kampuchea more effectively. 5) Organizing training courses for pre-service teachers, 3,000 people in total, at 6 regional pedagogical centers, including Phnom Penh, Xxxxxx, Xxxxx, Kampong Cham, Prey Veng, and Battambang. This training will be organized annually. 6) Organizing training course for pre-service teachers, 200 in total, at NIE every year. 7) Conducting training on the methodologies in teaching the history of Democratic Kampuchea for lecturers of the foundation year, 1,000 lecturers in total, from all Cambodian higher education institutions, both public and private. 8) Building genocide education memorials in 20 high schools nationwide in the purpose of remembering and forgiving. The memorial consists of two slogans which read: “Talking about experiences during the Khmer Rouge regime promotes reconciliation and educates children about forgiveness and tolerance” and “Learning about the history of Democratic Kampuchea prevents genocide.”

Unless otherwise provided herein, any statement of square footage set forth in this Lease, or that may have been used in calculating rental and/or Common Area Operating Expenses, is an approximation which Lessor and Lessee agree is reasonable and the rental and Lessee's Share (as defined in Paragraph 1.6(b)) based thereon is not subject to revision whether or not the actual square footage is more or less.

  • Premises Building Project and Common Areas 1.1 Premises, Building, Project and Common Areas.

  • Parking Facilities The parking facilities appurtenant to the Building include asphalt surface parking for visitor parking and a separate parking structure for monthly parking (“Parking Structure”). Tenant shall be entitled to use commencing on the earlier of the Commencement Date or Tenant’s occupancy of the Premises, eight (8) vehicle parking spaces within the Parking Structure for the monthly parking of Tenant’s employees. Two of such parking spaces shall be for parking in the reserved covered portion of the Parking Structure, four (4) of such parking spaces shall be for parking in the unreserved covered portion of the Parking Structure, and the remaining two (2) parking spaces shall be for parking in the unreserved rooftop, uncovered portion of the Parking Structure. Tenant’s use of the Parking Structure shall be based upon a non-exclusive use in common with Landlord, other tenants of the Building, and their guests and invitees. Tenant shall not use more parking spaces than said number, or any spaces (a) which have been specifically assigned by Landlord to other tenants or for such other uses as visitor parking or (b) which have been designated by governmental entities of competent jurisdiction as being restricted to certain uses. Landlord reserves the right to erect such security and access and egress control devices as it may reasonably deem to be appropriate (including, without limitation card controlled gates) and Tenant agrees to cooperate fully with Landlord in such matters. Tenant shall not permit or allow any vehicles that belong to or are controlled by Tenant or Tenant’s employees, suppliers, shippers, customers, or invitees to be loaded, unloaded, or parked in areas other than those designated by Landlord for such activities. If Tenant permits or allows any of such prohibited activities, then Landlord shall have the right, without notice, in addition to such other rights and remedies that it may have, to remove or tow away the vehicle involved and charge the cost to Tenant, which cost shall be immediately payable upon demand by Landlord.

  • Authority and Capacity Contractor and Contractor’s signatory each warrant and represent that each has full authority and capacity to enter into this Contract.
