Common use of Double Time Overtime Clause in Contracts

Double Time Overtime. Workers shall be paid double their regular rates for all hours worked on Sunday, regardless of the actual hours worked during the Employer's regular work week. Double time shall also be paid for all work performed in excess of the twelve (12) hours and on the following recognized holidays: ● New Year's Day ● Veteran's Day ● President’s Day ● Thanksgiving Day ● Memorial Day ● Friday after Thanksgiving ● Independence Day ● Christmas Day ● Labor Day No work will be permitted on Labor Day without the written approval of the Union Executive Board.
