Overtime Premium Sample Clauses

Overtime Premium. Employees shall be entitled to payment of time and one-half the employee's basic straight time hourly rate for all overtime work in excess of seven and one-half hours in a tour of duty or in excess of the average full-time hours of work over the period scheduled by the Hospital. Such period for this purpose shall not exceed two weeks. It is understood and acknowledged that the Hospital has the right to require employees to perform reasonable overtime work. Call-back shall not be considered as hours worked for pur- poses of this Article. Overtime premium will not be duplicated nor pyramided nor shall other premiums be duplicated nor pyramided nor shall the same hours worked be counted as part of the normal work week and also as hours for which the overtime premium is paid.

Overtime Premium. (a) All time worked in excess of the normal daily or bi- weekly hours shall be paid at the overtime rate of two times (2X) the Employee's regular rate of pay. Such period for this purpose shall not exceed two (2) weeks. It is understood that no overtime will be paid where the time worked was a result of an exchange at shifts between employees. Overtime shall be distributed as equally as practical among those employees normally performing the type of work to be done on overtime. Notice of overtime work shall be given as soon as practically possible. It is understood and acknowledged that the Hospital has the right to require employees to perform reasonably authorized overtime work. Call-back shall not be considered as hours worked for purposes of this Article. Overtime premium will not be duplicated nor pyramided nor shall other premiums be duplicated nor pyramided nor shall the same hours worked be counted as part of the normal work week and also as hours for which the overtime premium is paid. Where an employee is required to work additional overtime contiguous to an overtime shift within a twenty-four (24) hour period, the employee will be compensated at the rate of double time his or her straight time hourly rate for all additional contiguous overtime hours worked. (b) Overtime shifts will be offered on a rotating seniority basis (over a two (2) week pay period), first to full-time and then to part-time within the home department. The refusal of an overtime shift within the home department shall constitute time worked.

Overtime Premium. Employees shall be paid at time and one-half (1½) their regular pay for the first four (4) hours of overtime in a shift and double time thereafter in that shift. Employees shall also be paid at double time their regular pay for all overtime hours worked in excess of twelve (12) hours in a two-week pay period. For the purpose of qualifying for the double time rate, actual hours worked shall be considered in the case of a call-back of less than four (4) consecutive hours. Overtime Premium. An employee assigned to a classification in the Professional Development Framework or Role Specific Advancement Model, will be paid an overtime premium of one half (1/2) the employee's rate of pay per hour and shift premium, if applicable, dependent upon the work schedule to which assigned, for the time paid as follows:

Standby pay shall, however, cease where an employee is called in to work, and works during the period of standby.

Overtime Premium. An overtime premium computed at one and one-half times the employee's hourly rate plus shift premium and/or lead person pay, if applicable, will be paid for time paid (1) in excess of eight (8) hours in a day or (2) in excess of forty (40) hours in a calendar week for which an overtime premium has not previously been earned.

Overtime Premium. 1.7.1 Overtime is paid with an hourly rate equivalent to 80% premium on the hourly rate, i.e. by 1.0385% of the monthly pay for day work. The calculation of overtime pay is according to the employment contract or to a written confirmation of employment.
