DRUG AND ALCOHOL FREE WORKPLACE. 22.1 The Employer is required to comply with the Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act (DFSCA), the Drug-Free Schools and Campuses Regulations, and the Drug-Free Workplace Act in order to be eligible for federal funding. In addition, the Employer will comply with RCW 49.17, Washington Industrial Safety and Health Act, and WAC 296. Marijuana is a controlled substance under state and federal law. All employees must report to work in a condition fit to perform their assigned duties unimpaired by alcohol or controlled substances.
