Common use of Drugs and Alcohol Clause in Contracts

Drugs and Alcohol. For the purposes of this Agreement, drugs and alcohol will be defined as alcohol and controlled substances as defined by the Federal Controlled Substance Act (21 U.S.C. #812), excluding any substance lawfully prescribed for the employee's use. Marijuana is defined as a drug for the purpose of this Agreement, regardless of whether or not the marijuana was distributed for medical purposes.
