Common use of Dues Cancellation Clause in Contracts

Dues Cancellation. ‌ An employee may cancel his/her payroll deduction of dues by written notice to the Employer and the Union. The cancellation will become effective on the second payroll after receipt of the notice. However, the cancellation may cause the employee to be discharged, subject to Subsection 35.2 E, above.
