Common use of Duration of Negotiations Clause in Contracts

Duration of Negotiations. 2.031 After sixty (60) days of negotiations or a review of all items presented for negotiations, whichever is earlier, either party may declare that a condition of impasse exists. The party declaring impasse shall be responsible for notifying the Federal Mediator and will provide the other party with a copy of the request. The Mediator may not require either party to make a concession or further proposal or counter proposal.
