Use of School Buildings and Equipment. The Board and the administration will cooperate with the recognized teacher association in the use of school buildings and equipment providing such use does not interfere with regular school activities and is in accordance with the provisions of the Board’s policy on use of buildings and facilities for school-associated groups.
Use of School Buildings and Equipment. The Association shall have the right to use School District 19 Buildings and equipment for the purpose of having meetings and transacting business on the same 20 terms and conditions as other public groups, provided that such meetings do not interfere with the 21 District's educational programs. The Association shall reimburse the District for any extra custodial 22 costs resulting from the use of such buildings. All meetings shall not conflict with other pre-scheduled 23 meetings for the facilities requested and shall be scheduled through the building administrator under 24 the same procedure as applied to other public and civic groups.
Use of School Buildings and Equipment. The Association and its representatives shall have the right to use school buildings at all reasonable hours for meetings. The Principal of the building in question shall be notified in advance of the time and place of all such meetings. The Association shall have the right to use school facilities and equipment, and all types of audio-visual equipment at reasonable times when such equipment is not otherwise in use or being held for valid reasons. Where necessary, requests shall be made for specially trained people to operate machinery on behalf of the Association.
Use of School Buildings and Equipment. The Association shall have the right to request the use of school buildings, at no cost, at reasonable times for Association business limited to the Genoa Area Local School District. The Association shall also have the right to request the use, at cost, of school owned equipment and/or materials, including but not limited to typewriters, duplicators, mimeo, copiers, ink, paper, etc. for Association business limited to the Genoa Area Local School District. The Association agrees, as a condition of usage of the above mentioned equipment, that any damage resulting from said use shall be paid by the Association.
Use of School Buildings and Equipment. Upon notice, the Association shall have the right to use school buildings without cost for Association meetings provided no other school related activities are scheduled for the area and time requested. Requests shall be directed to the building principal or supervisor in charge of the building. Upon approval of the building principal or administrator in charge of the building, the Association shall have the right to use the School District's word processing, computing and duplicating equipment, provided that the Association shall pay for the consumable materials used by the Association. Such approval to use such machines will not be unreasonably withheld.
Use of School Buildings and Equipment. 11 1. Upon approval from the appropriate building administrator, the Association and its 12 representatives shall have the right to use any of the district’s buildings during 13 Association member lunch periods or before or after the student school day. The 14 appropriate building administrator shall be notified in advance of the time and place 15 of each such meeting.
16 2. The Association shall have the right to use school facilities and equipment, when 17 such equipment is not otherwise in use, as per Board policy.
18 3. The Association shall pay for the reasonable cost of all materials and supplies.
19 4. The Association shall have, in each school building, use of a bulletin board in each 20 faculty lounge and teachers’ dining room. The location of the Association bulletin 21 board in each room shall be designated by the Association. The Association shall 22 also be assigned adequate space on the bulletin board in each school building’s 23 central office for Association notices. Copies of all materials to be posted on such 24 bulletin board shall be given to the building Principal(s).

The Association shall have the right to use the inter-school mail facilities and school 2 mail boxes, including e-mail, only upon prior approval given in writing by the 3 appropriate building administrator. The Association is permitted to use the 4 computer network(s)/computers for education and legitimate Association business 5 activities only. Use of computer network(s)/computers for commercial activity or 6 posting of personal information is strictly forbidden. It is expressly understood that 7 the computer network(s)/computers shall not be used, under any circumstances, by 8 the Association or any staff member to communicate any information concerning 9 job actions.
10 6. The Board shall establish office space in one (1) of the District’s school buildings 11 which may be used for the Association’s business. The office space shall be 12 provided only if such space is deemed available annually by the Superintendent of 13 Schools and the individual school building’s Principal. The determination shall be 14 based upon the availability of office space along with the District’s and the 15 individual school building’s ability to provide such space. The District will notify 16 the Association regarding the availability of office space on or before June 30 of 17 each year.
Use of School Buildings and Equipment. The Association and its representatives shall have the privilege of using intra-school mail, and school buildings and equipment during reasonable hours for meetings and usage upon clearing with the building principal with a standard request form for use of buildings and equipment.
1. The President of the Association shall be released from all non-teaching duties whenever possible; i.e., study halls, cafeteria supervision, lunch duties, etc.
2. The KEA President shall be released from regularly scheduled duties to attend to KEA responsibilities when prior approval has been obtained from the Superintendent and notification given to the building principal or program supervisor. A substitute shall be provided for the time approved.
Use of School Buildings and Equipment. The Association will be permitted the use of available space in any of the special education school buildings for meetings on other than regular school hours, provided that the facilities requested are not scheduled for other use, and provided that a custodian is normally to be on duty. Requests for such use will be submitted on the appropriate form to the Administrator of the building. No charge will be made to the Association for such use but the Association will assume all liability for any damage resulting from such use. This section is non-applicable to the use of the Non-Public Schools. The Association, upon reasonable request to the building administrator, will have the right to use AIU school facilities, equipment and technology in any of the special education schools or satellite programs. The Association will be responsible for any repairs and all materials and supplies incidental or necessitated as a result of such use. No request will be unreasonably denied. This section is non- applicable to the use of the Non-Public Schools equipment. The Association may use one (1) faculty bulletin board in each faculty room of each special education school for Association matters. Wherever possible and permissible, the Association may use one (1) faculty bulletin board in each faculty room, if one exists in the annexes to the special education schools. The Association will have the duty to maintain the bulletin board. This section is non-applicable to the use of the Non-Public Schools and English as Second Language (ESL) bulletin boards. The Association may have reasonable use of the special education school or annex (if available in annex) mail facilities including mail boxes, providing a copy of all materials supplied to the Building Administrator. In the event that mail facilities are unavailable, for example, to itinerants, such Employees will have the right to distribute Association materials after staff meetings. This section is non-applicable to the use of the Non-Public Schools mail facilities.
Use of School Buildings and Equipment. The Association will have the right to use school buildings for official Association business without cost at reasonable times for meetings. Arrangements for general membership, building, or other large meetings will be made with the respective building principal. Any added costs over and above the normal operational costs of the building will be borne by the Association. The Association building representative will have permission to use school equipment for official Association business when such equipment is not being used for classroom instruction or office work. Employees using such equipment must be competent in the operation of said equipment. No equipment shall be removed from the building in which it is located without the permission of the principal. Supplies used in connection with such equipment will be furnished by or paid for by the Association. Any such supplies expended as a result of such equipment use may be purchased from the Board at the same cost as incurred by the Board.
Use of School Buildings and Equipment. School facilities and equipment may be used for Association meetings at reasonable times during non- duty hours provided that such meetings shall not interfere with the normal school operations. The Association shall pay for the reasonable cost of all materials and supplies incidental to such use and any repairs necessitated as a result thereof. Where a custodian is required for such meetings and no custodian is regularly on duty at the time requested, the Association will pay the direct costs involved for such custodial service.
