Early Sign Out. Students are not allowed to leave campus without permission from an administrator. Parents must request early sign out through the school office by phone or in person. Schools will establish procedures for early release to ensure a secure campus for dismissal. Repeated early sign outs may count toward a pattern of non-attendance, which could indicate truancy. The same criteria used to determine an excused absence and an excused tardy will be used to determine whether an early sign out is excused or unexcused.
