Common use of EDUCATION, TRAINING AND CAREER DEVELOPMENT Clause in Contracts

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND CAREER DEVELOPMENT. Career Development increases opportunities for employees to gain experience they need in order to reach their career goals. Any employee may apply for a career development opportunity if they are able to meet the qualifications of the program. Upon successful completion, they may compete for any open position in that classification. During the first half of the assignment, the employee shall receive no extra pay. During the last half of the assignment, the employee shall receive appropriate work-out-of-class pay. Employees may obtain a copy of the current agency career development policy at PP 000-000-000.
