Common use of Educational Assistance Program Clause in Contracts

Educational Assistance Program. The Company will provide financial assistance up to one hundred (100) percent of the cost of tuition, laboratory fees, and required text books to employees who while still actively employed and outside their regular working hours satisfactorily complete qualified courses of study related to Bargaining Unit work in recognized schools or colleges. Applications must be filed and approved prior to the start of the course. An employee who is receiving Government financial assistance for education is not eligible for a refund under this program.

Applications must be filed and approved prior to the start of starting the course. An employee who is receiving Government financial assistance for education is not eligible for a refund under this program. The educational assistance program will be administered as outlined in the Education Assistance Policy.
