Common use of Educational Goals and Programs Clause in Contracts

Educational Goals and Programs. The Academy shall pursue the educational goals identified in Schedule 5. Such goals may be amended pursuant to Section 8.1 of Article VIII of this Contract. The Academy shall provide, annually, a report to Saginaw Valley State University of its performance in meeting these objectives. This report shall contain a statement of student growth and achievement as well as the summarized results of all standardized testing administered at the Academy. In addition to any educational goals set forth in Schedule 5, the educational goals shall include demonstrated improved pupil academic achievement for all groups of pupils, and the Academy shall not be identified as being in the bottom 5% of all public schools in the State; if the Academy is so identified, it shall present to the Director within 60 days of being so identified its plan for improvement that comports with applicable law. To the extent applicable, the progress of the pupils in the Academy shall be assessed using at least Michigan’s statewide assessments under MCLA 380.1279g or such successor instrument required by applicable law.
