Common use of Educator Goal Setting and Plan Development Clause in Contracts

Educator Goal Setting and Plan Development. By November 1, an Administrator and Evaluator will use the appropriate rubric to set a minimum of one (1) Professional Practice Goal and one Student Learning Goal in order to develop an Educator Growth Plan. Goals should align with school, department, or district goals. The Administrator and Evaluator should also develop a set of actions the Educator will take in pursuit of their Student Learning Goal(s) and Professional Practice Goal(s). It is expected that the Administrator Goal Setting and Plan Development process addresses the analysis of student learning, growth and achievement of the students under the Administrator’s responsibility. Administrators shall record their goals and proposed actions on the Administrator Goal‐ Setting and Plan Development form.
