Effect of Leave Without Pay on Trial Service Period. An employee's trial service period shall not be extended except in instances where an employee's leave without pay exceeds fifteen (15)-consecutive calendar days. When such leave without pay exceeds fifteen (15)-consecutive calendar days, the trial service period shall be extended by the number of days of the leave without pay.
