EFFECT OF LEAVES ON ACCRUED PTO Sample Clauses

EFFECT OF LEAVES ON ACCRUED PTO. Employees do not accrue PTO time during leaves of absence whether the leave of absence is unpaid or compensated through short- or long-term disability. In any month in which an employee’s leave begins or ends, whether the leave is unpaid or compensated through short- or long-term disability, the employee will only accrue PTO in such a month if the employee has completed at least eighty-six (86) regular hours of work (including excused paid time off, but excluding overtime) in that month. For months in which an employee does not accrue PTO, the employee’s PTO allotment will be reduced using the table in Section 11.1(a).
