Common use of Electronic Interface Clause in Contracts

Electronic Interface. The Parties shall work cooperatively in the implementation of electronic gateway access to GTE operational support systems functions in the long-term in accordance with established industry standards. NEN should refer to the GTE Guide for the current OSS capabilities. 9.1 NEN may migrate to fully interactive system to system interconnectivity. GTE, with input from NEN and other carriers, shall provide general interface specifications for electronic access to this functionality. These specifications will be provided to enable NEN to design system interface capabilities. Development will be in accordance with applicable national standards committee guidelines. Such interfaces will be available as expeditiously as possible. 9.2 All costs and expenses for any new or modified electronic interfaces exclusively to meet NEN requirements that GTE determines are different from what is Currently Available will be paid by NEN, if GTE is in agreement. 9.3 NEN shall be responsible for modifying and connecting any of its pre-ordering and ordering systems with GTE provided interfaces as described in the Guide.
