Eligibility a. i. A pregnant permanent, fixed term contract or eligible casual Employee is entitled to unpaid Maternity Leave on the birth of a child. ii. The period of leave for a fixed term contract Employee shall not extend beyond the term of that contract. iii. An Employee is eligible, without concluding their Maternity Leave and resuming duty, for subsequent periods of Maternity Leave, including Paid Maternity Leave, in accordance with the provisions of this clause.
