Eligibility Committee. The Trustees may appoint an Eligibility Committee which shall formulate rules and procedures for the processing of applications for, and the determination of payment of, benefits and make appropriate reports and recommendations on these subjects to the Board. The Eligibility Committee is authorized to review any application for benefits with regard to eligibility and amount thereof (to the extent that determination of amounts does not rest with an insurance carrier) and make appropriate determinations with respect thereto. It shall conduct such reviews in accordance with the established claim review procedures of this Fund.
