Common use of Eligibility Credit Clause in Contracts

Eligibility Credit. For the purposes of determining “eligible” years and “loss of eligibility” only, as above provided, employees who leave the employ of Producer to perform military service and who remain in the Armed Forces of the United States in accordance with the applicable National Selective Service Act (or other subsequently enacted comparable national legislation then in effect pertaining to such service), shall be credited as having worked for Producer the number of applicable days the employee would normally have been employed by Producer for “straight time” days in each workweek of the period of such service.
