Emergency Call Back and Overtime. Section 1. If it becomes necessary to work building inspectors other than scheduled shifts, work shall be assigned according to: ability, area of licensure and seniority whenever possible. Section 2. Employees called out for work on assigned days off, or employees reporting for work on scheduled days off shall be guaranteed a minimum of three (3) hours of work at the overtime rate of pay. Employees called back to work on regularly scheduled work days at a time outside of regularly scheduled hours shall receive a minimum of two (2) hours work at the overtime rate of pay. If an employee is called in to work within two (2) hours ofthe commencement of the next scheduled shift for that employee, the employee may leave their shift early upon mutual agreement between the Employer and the employee so that the normally scheduled work hours for the day will be worked. Section 3. Overtime shall commence at six (6) minutes after the scheduled end of the shift and be paid in six (6) minute intervals.
