Common use of Emergency Call-Out Pay Clause in Contracts

Emergency Call-Out Pay. An employee who has already left the premises of the Company after completion of his scheduled shift, and who is called by the Company to work, or who is required to work outside of their scheduled shift, shall receive at least five (5) hours pay at regular rate or time and one-half for the hours worked, whichever is greater. This provision shall not apply to hours worked that are contiguous to the employee’s scheduled shift.
