Emergency Closing of Parks Department. (a) Closing Prior to Start of Shift. In the event it becomes necessary to close the Parks Department due to an emergency situation beyond the control of management, the County Executive or his designee will make every reasonable effort to notify employees through the media at least one hour prior to the beginning of the shift of the closing of County offices, in which case employees will not be paid for the duration of the closing.
