Common use of EMERGENCY EMPLOYMENT Clause in Contracts

EMERGENCY EMPLOYMENT. In the event an employee fails to report for work, becomes sick during the course of the day, or for some other reason disrupts the Contractor’s work routine by not working, the Contractor shall immediately contact the Union Office to obtain a qualified replacement. While the Contractor is waiting for the replacement to arrive, the Contractor shall have the right to place a qualified worker on the equipment in order to keep the other tradespeople working.
